Swimathon Challenge 2009
Event Date: 05 January 2009-31 May 2009
Event Synopsis:
Teesdale Leisure Centre's annual Swimathon challenge in aid of the Bubble Foundation UK. The challenge will commence on Monday 5th January and finish on Sunday 31st May 2009.
This event will have an adult and a junior catergory consisting of the following:
Junior challenge (up to and including 15 year olds):
- 5 miles,320 lengths(Bronze)
- 10 miles,640 lengths (Silver)
- 15 miles,960 lengths (Gold)
- 20 miles,1280 lengths (Platinum)
Adult challenge (16 year olds and over):
- 15 miles,960 lengths(Bronze)
- 25 miles,1600 lengths (Silver)
- 35 miles,2240 lengths (Gold)
- 45 miles,2880 lenghts(Platinum)
On completion of any of the challenges each swimmer will receive a T-shirt and certificate.
The cost to register will be £2.00 per person.
